A multilingual woman fluent in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamentu, Akisha represents the vibrant cultural mosaic of her homeland with pride and authenticity.
Her journey into the world of pageantry and public life has been deeply rooted in her passion for service and advocacy. She is not only a beauty queen but also a television host, entrepreneur, empowerment coach, and future author. With a vision to uplift and inspire, she founded the “MBA Empowerment” initiative—focused on mentoring and building the confidence of young women across the Caribbean and beyond. Akisha believes that real beauty begins with the courage to rise, lead, and serve others with heart.

HER EXPERIENCES

Akisha’s pageant journey is marked by determination, transformation, and excellence. After representing Curaçao in numerous international pageants—including Miss Universe 2018, where she impressed audiences globally—she returned to the international stage with renewed passion at Miss Grand International 2024, held in Thailand. Her performance throughout the competition showcased her poise, eloquence, and unwavering commitment to making a difference. Every step she took on stage echoed her personal values and years of dedication to personal growth and community empowerment. As a finalist, she stood tall among the most inspiring women from around the world—proving that a crown is not just an adornment, but a symbol of purpose, perseverance, and pride.
