INTRODUCTION
My name is Alyanni Trujillo Gomez, and I am proudly representing Cuba. I grew up in a small town in Cuba, where my dreams often felt much bigger than the world around me. From studying dance as a young girl to pursuing my education in the United States, my journey has taught me the value of resilience, discipline, and never allowing my circumstances to define my future.
Today, I am a pre-dental student, model, entrepreneur, and building manager, while also mentoring young women and supporting initiatives that help children in Cuba. Education is especially meaningful to me because I believe knowledge gives people the confidence and freedom to create a different future for themselves.
As Miss Grand Cuba, I want to represent the strength, warmth, and determination of the Cuban people while using my voice to encourage young people to dream beyond their circumstances. I want my journey to be proof that your beginning may shape you, but it does not have to limit where you can go.
Stop the War and Violence
The “Stop the War and Violence” campaign represents something deeply personal to me: the belief that every human being deserves the freedom to live, speak, and dream without fear.
I come from Cuba, an island surrounded by the sea, but for generations, that same sea has carried stories of separation, sacrifice, and people risking everything in search of opportunity.
Growing up Cuban taught me that violence does not always begin with weapons. It can begin when people are silenced, when fear becomes normal, and when a generation starts to believe that its dreams can only exist somewhere else.
But this message reaches far beyond Cuba, because different countries carry different wounds, but the human cost of violence is the same.
That is what this campaign means to me: recognizing that peace must be more than the absence of war. Peace is the presence of liberty and opportunity. And as a Cuban woman who now has the privilege of being heard, I believe my responsibility is to use my voice for those who are still fighting to have one.
The 4Bs
To me, the 4Bs represent the different dimensions of the woman I am today and the woman I continue working to become.
Body represents discipline. Growing up as a dancer taught me that strength, confidence, and results come from consistency. Beauty, to me, goes beyond appearance. It is presence, authenticity, and the way you make people feel when you enter a room.
Brain represents one of the most important parts of my identity. As a student pursuing dentistry, education is the foundation of the future I am building. I believe beauty may open a door, but knowledge gives you the ability to decide what you do once you walk through it.
Business represents independence, leadership, and vision. Working in the management of a luxury residential building has taught me how to lead, solve problems, manage people, and handle real responsibilities every day. I am also involved in the production of teen pageants for Cuba, where I work behind the scenes to bring ideas to life and mentor the next generation of young women. These experiences are preparing me for one of my biggest future goals: combining my passion for dentistry with entrepreneurship by building and leading a successful dental practice of my own.
Together, Body, Beauty, Brain, and Business represent the kind of woman I want to be: a woman who takes care of herself, invests in her mind, leads with purpose, and builds her own future. I don’t believe a woman should have to choose between beauty, intelligence, femininity, and ambition. I believe our greatest strength is being able to embody them all.
PASSION TO BEAUTY PAGEANT
My Passion for Beauty Pageants
My passion for beauty pageants started long before I ever imagined myself wearing a crown. Growing up as a dancer in a small town in Cuba, I fell in love with the stage, the transformation, and the feeling of telling a story without saying a word. Over time, that fascination became something much bigger. I didn’t just want to compete; I wanted to understand pageantry from every side. I became involved in modeling, mentoring young girls, and helping produce events, which taught me that the most memorable woman in the room is not always the one with the most beautiful dress, but the one who knows who she is and why she is there.
That is what I love most about pageantry: it gives women the opportunity to turn their individuality into influence. Miss Grand International, in particular, has been my favorite pageant for years because it combines everything I love: performance, fashion, culture, personality, and purpose. Now, representing Cuba on the stage I once dreamed of from afar feels incredibly special. I am not coming only to experience that dream; I am coming with the determination to make my country proud and fight for Cuba’s second golden crown.
SKILLS
One of my strongest skills is knowing how to read a room and adapt quickly. I’m a natural problem solver, a strong communicator, and the kind of person who will figure things out even when there is no instruction manual. Working in management has made me organized and resourceful, while producing pageants has taught me how to turn an idea into something real and keep everything moving behind the scenes. Dance is probably my most natural talent. Years of training gave me body awareness, musicality, discipline, and a love for performing that never really left me. Modeling and pageantry have added another layer to that: I know how to work a camera, connect with an audience, and command a stage. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish, and I genuinely enjoy working with people, especially mentoring younger girls. But perhaps my most useful skill is staying calm in chaos. Give me a problem, a deadline, and five things happening at the same time, and somehow I’ll figure it out—preferably in heels.
