MISS GRAND
Bangladesh
Anonna Fatima
INTRODUCTION
I believe a woman’s identity is shaped not only by what she achieves, but also by the lives she inspires along the way. I’m Anonna Fatima, proudly representing Bangladesh.
I’m a model, anchor, and actress, and I’ve also studied fashion design, which has always been a big part of my life. But beyond my career, I think what really defines me is my personality and the experiences that have shaped me.
I’ve been athletic since childhood, and I was also a scout, so discipline, teamwork, and taking responsibility have always been a part of who I am. I also have experience working at a marketing agency, which helped me develop strong communication and people skills.
But today, I want to use my platform for something bigger than myself. Through my initiative, Project Shakti, I’ve already started working with foundations and young people, focusing especially on empowering girls through skills, confidence, and opportunities to become independent. I truly believe that when you empower a girl, you don’t just change one life; you can change an entire family and, eventually, a community.
As I step onto the Miss Grand International platform, I want to represent Bangladesh not only with beauty and confidence, but with a purpose. I want to use my voice, my experience, and this platform to inspire young people, especially young women, to believe in themselves, become independent, and create their own path.
I’m proud of where I come from, and I’m excited to show the world the Bangladesh I know — strong, resilient, talented, and full of possibilities.
My passion for beauty pageantry comes from my desire to challenge myself, grow beyond my comfort zone, and use my voice for something meaningful. To me, a beauty pageant is not a competition of who looks the best; it is a journey that tests your confidence, discipline, communication, character, and ability to stand for something bigger than yourself.
As someone from Bangladesh, I see pageantry as an opportunity to tell the world a different story about my country and its women — women who are strong, ambitious, talented, and capable of creating their own identity.
What makes me truly passionate about pageantry is the transformation it brings. Every experience teaches me something, every challenge makes me stronger, and every platform gives me a chance to connect with people and create an impact.
I don’t want a crown simply to be seen. I want to earn a crown that gives me the power to be heard and to use that voice to inspire young women to believe in themselves, dream fearlessly, and build a life on their own terms.
To me, “Stop the War and Violence” is not just a slogan; it is a call to protect the lives, dreams, and dignity of ordinary people.
War does not only destroy buildings; it destroys childhoods, separates families, takes away opportunities, and leaves wounds that can last for generations. And violence is not always found on a battlefield — it can exist in our homes, communities, schools, and even in the way we treat one another.
I believe peace begins when we stop normalizing violence and start choosing empathy, dialogue, and understanding. As a woman and as a representative of Bangladesh, I want to use my voice to remind people that strength is not about having the power to hurt others; true strength is having the courage to choose peace.
I may not be able to stop a war by myself, but I can use my voice to inspire one person to choose kindness over hatred, and sometimes, change begins exactly there.
For me, Body, Brand, Beauty, and Business are not four separate things; they are different parts of the woman I am becoming.
My athletic background taught me discipline and respect for my body. My work in fashion and pageantry taught me that beauty is not simply about appearance — it is about confidence, character, and how you carry yourself. Building my personal brand has taught me the importance of authenticity because I want people to know me for what I believe in, not just how I look. And my experience in marketing has given me an interest in business and the ambition to build something of my own in the future.
At the heart of all four is one value: empowerment. I want to build a career where beauty creates opportunities, a brand represents purpose, and business creates independence. My ultimate ambition is to use my platform to inspire young women to take ownership of their bodies, their identities, their careers, and their futures.
