MISS GRAND
Uruguay
Francie Millán
INTRODUCTION
Francie Millán is a Uruguayan entrepreneur, philanthropist, children’s book author, and international television and event host, proudly representing Uruguay at Miss Grand International 2026.
Rooted in her Uruguayan heritage and guided by the unmistakable garra charrúa, Francie has built a life centred on transforming ambition into meaningful impact. She is the author of the children’s book Simón el Gran Barrón and the founder of the Francie Millán Scholarship, with educational initiatives reaching Togo, Africa; Bogotá, Colombia; and Bangkok, Thailand.
Beyond her philanthropic work, Francie is an entrepreneur and experienced communicator who has built her career across business, media, hosting, and advocacy. Her ability to connect with people across cultures has become one of the defining strengths of her journey.
At Miss Grand International, Francie carries more than the name of Uruguay across her sash. She carries its resilience, its heart, and its determination. Her mission is to use the international platform to amplify the work she has already begun, creating opportunities that change lives and showing the world just how powerful Uruguay can be.
Stop the War and Violence
To me, “Stop the War and Violence” is a reminder that before our nationalities, our languages, our borders, or our differences, antes que todo, somos humanos. We are human first.
Every day, we watch the world suffer through a screen. It can become easy to feel that conflicts happening thousands of miles away have nothing to do with us. But choosing humanity means refusing to become indifferent to someone else’s suffering.
My commitment to education, literacy, community service, and scholarships comes from my belief that creating opportunity is one of the most powerful ways we can create hope. We may not individually have the power to end every conflict, but we all have the power to choose compassion over hatred and action over indifference.
Compassion has no nationality. Kindness needs no translation. And hope should have no borders.
La paz comienza con nosotros.
Stop the war. Stop the violence. And above all, choose humanity.
The 4Bs
To me, the 4Bs represent the complete modern woman—not perfection, but power with purpose.
Body is discipline. It is the strength, endurance, and consistency I have developed by constantly challenging myself and learning to perform under pressure.
Beauty is influence. Beauty may capture attention, but character determines what you do with that attention. I want mine to make people feel seen, represented, and inspired.
Brain is my voice. As an author, bilingual communicator, and international host, I have learned that knowing how to speak is powerful, but knowing what you stand for is even more powerful.
Business is where vision becomes reality. As an entrepreneur, I have learned how to build a personal brand and transform ideas into tangible projects, including my children’s book and the Francie Millán Scholarship.
Together, the 4Bs represent exactly the woman I aspire to be as Miss Grand International: a woman who can command a stage, communicate with the world, build something of her own, and use her influence to create opportunities for others.
To me, being Grand means having it all and using it for something greater than yourself.
PASSION TO BEAUTY PAGEANT
My Passion for Beauty Pageants
My passion for pageantry is rooted in possibility—what can happen when ambition, visibility, and purpose are placed in the hands of the right woman.
I have never wanted to collect crowns; I have wanted to build something because I wore them. Through my personal brand, I have turned visibility into entrepreneurship, authorship, philanthropy, and the Francie Millán Scholarship, creating educational opportunities for young people across different parts of the world.
That is what makes Miss Grand International so exciting to me. It represents everything I believe a modern queen should be: beautiful and entertaining, but also commercially powerful, globally relevant, intelligent, outspoken, and capable of building a legacy beyond her reign.
I know how to perform. I know how to communicate. I know how to build a brand. Most importantly, I already know what I want that influence to accomplish.
Pageantry gave me a platform. I turned it into a purpose. Now I am ready to take that purpose Grand.
