Ioanna Shervashidze

At only 18, Ioanna Shervashidze represents a generation of young Georgian women who are not waiting for the future—they are already helping shape it.

Her journey began with discipline. A four-time Georgian champion in rhythmic gymnastics and a gold-medal high school graduate, Ioanna learned early that achievement is built through perseverance. By the age of 15, her voice had already reached Brussels and Strasbourg, where, as a young ambassador, she advocated for Georgia’s European future. Since then, international educational programs have taken her across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States, including leadership and economics studies at Rutgers University, as she prepares for a future in finance and auditing.

Yet Ioanna’s identity reaches far beyond academics. As a dancer with Georgia’s State Academic Ensemble “Khorumi,” she has carried Georgian culture onto international stages; as a model, she has experienced the global world of fashion; and through environmental and disability-support initiatives, she has learned that leadership has meaning only when it also serves others.

Having traveled across cultures and continents from a young age, Ioanna has discovered that the more of the world she sees, the more deeply she understands the responsibility and honor of representing her own country.

As Miss Grand Georgia, she wants the world to meet the Georgia she knows: resilient yet graceful, deeply rooted in its heritage yet ambitious for its future. She stands for a young generation that believes its voice can cross borders, its dreams can become purpose, and its achievements can create opportunities for those who come next.

Stop the War and Violence

To me, “Stop the War and Violence” is not simply a campaign—it is something I understand through the memory of my country.

I come from Georgia, a small country with a powerful spirit, where almost every generation has carried a story touched by war, displacement, separation, or loss. Even those of us who were born too young to remember the sound of war have grown up understanding its consequences. It lives in the stories of our families, in the people who were forced to leave their homes, and in the parts of our country that remain divided.

Perhaps that is why, from a young age, I believed so strongly in dialogue. At 15, I was already speaking in Brussels and Strasbourg about Georgia’s European future. Those experiences taught me something I carry with me today: a voice should never be underestimated simply because it is young.

As a Georgian woman, I know that strength is part of what we inherit. But I do not believe strength should be measured by how much pain we can survive. True strength is creating a world where the next generation does not have to inherit that pain at all.

For me, stopping war and violence begins when we stop accepting hatred as normal, when we choose conversation over division, and when we teach young people that courage is not destroying an enemy—it is finding the humanity to prevent one.

I represent a country that knows the price of war. That is why I want to represent a generation brave enough to choose peace.

The 4Bs

To me, the 4Bs are not four separate qualities—they represent the balance of the woman I am becoming.

Body represents discipline. As a former rhythmic gymnast and four-time Georgian champion, my body taught me some of my earliest life lessons: consistency, sacrifice, resilience, and the ability to stand back up after failure. Today, I see taking care of my body not as a pursuit of perfection, but as respect for the strength that carries me toward my goals.

Beauty represents identity. Through modeling, dance, fashion, and representing Georgian culture internationally, I have learned that beauty becomes powerful when it is authentic. I want my beauty to carry a story—the elegance of a young woman, the heritage of Georgia, and the confidence to enter the world without losing where I come from.

Brain represents my greatest investment in myself. Education has opened doors that beauty alone never could. From graduating with a gold medal to speaking internationally as a young ambassador and studying leadership and economics abroad, I have learned that knowledge gives a woman independence—and a voice that cannot easily be taken away from her.

And Business represents my future. As I begin my university studies in auditing and accounting, I want to transform education into independence, leadership, and eventually opportunities for others. I want to become a woman who understands not only how to achieve success, but how to build it, manage it, and create something meaningful from it.

At 18, I know I still have an extraordinary amount to learn. And that excites me. Body gave me discipline. Beauty gave me presence. Brain gave me a voice. Business will give me the tools to turn my ambitions into something lasting.

Together, the 4Bs represent the woman I want to become: strong enough to endure, confident enough to be seen, intelligent enough to lead, and ambitious enough to build her own future.
