MISS GRAND
Canada
Patricia Rosalyn Seward
INTRODUCTION
Trained in classical ballet from an early age, Patricia developed a strong sense of discipline, grace, and determination that continues to define her path today. A marketing and operations graduate from Simon Fraser University, with fashion studies at Bocconi University, Patricia has built a dynamic career spanning corporate strategy, fashion, and media. Her global perspective is further strengthened by her fluency in four languages, allowing her to connect across cultures with ease and authenticity. Driven by a passion for sustainability, Patricia is the founder of the Future Fashion Initiative and the host of its dedicated podcast. Through interactive webinars, resources, and sustainable styling, her initiative has empowered hundreds of individuals to make climate-conscious choices. She also actively collaborates with organizations like Dress for Success, helping women, newcomers, and refugees build confidence and workplace readiness. Her journey is rooted in using her platform as a force for good—bridging executive strategy, creative vision, and social responsibility to inspire conscious change on a global scale.
Stop the War and Violence
H.G. Wells once wrote that “if we don’t end war, it will end us.” That stark truth defines what the “Stop the War and Violence” campaign means to me: a vital mission to protect and restore the fundamental human rights of dignity, security, and self-determination. War and conflict steal more than physical safety; they strip individuals of their homes, livelihoods, and self-worth. Having worked directly with refugees fleeing violence, including Ukrainian mothers and daughters rebuilding their lives in Canada, I have witnessed how conflict shatters certainty. Peace is not merely the absence of war; it is the presence of economic opportunity, community support, and human dignity. Through my work providing workplace readiness, career styling, and confidence workshops for newcomers and refugees, I seek to turn the campaign’s motto into direct action by restoring self-worth so survivors of conflict can rebuild their lives and walk into any room with courage.
The 4Bs
The 4Bs framework represents the complete synergy of modern female leadership, where physical discipline, creative expression, intellect, and strategic execution work together to create real-world impact. Body is rooted in my lifelong dedication to classical Cecchetti ballet, where earning my Senior Certificate served as an early masterclass in physical stamina, grace, poise, and the mental resilience required to command any stage with presence and health. Beauty is an outward reflection of inner character, empathy, and authentic storytelling. My belief that “when a woman feels her best, she does her best” guides my passion for fashion as a powerful tool for confidence and personal empowerment. Brain reflects my continuous pursuit of knowledge, demonstrated by my Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from Simon Fraser University, luxury fashion studies at Bocconi University in Milan, and fluency in four languages, allowing me to bridge global cultures and approach complex challenges with an analytical mindset. Finally, Business embodies my entrepreneurial drive and strategic leadership as a manager leading multi-million-dollar corporate contract negotiations, a 2025 Women Empowerment Award nominee, and the founder of The Future Fashion Initiative. Together, these four pillars define my ambition to earn an MBA and launch an international clothing brand, proving that commerce, intellect, and humanitarian impact can thrive on the same stage.
PASSION TO BEAUTY PAGEANT
My Passion for Beauty Pageants
Pageantry is a high-performance leadership platform and a global stage that serves as a transformative vehicle to drive tangible social and economic change. Having transformed the personal adversity of childhood bullying into an unbreakable foundation of resilience, my passion for pageantry stems from a deep conviction that helping others discover their self-confidence transforms my past challenges into my life’s purpose. As a corporate negotiator leading multi-million-dollar contracts, a media spokesperson, and a sustainable fashion advocate, I see Miss Grand International not merely as a competition, but as a recruitment platform for purpose-driven leaders. It provides the ideal vehicle to bridge my business acumen and media background with my mission to empower newcomers and women through The Future Fashion Initiative. Ultimately, pageantry allows me to lead with authenticity, elegance, and measurable impact, demonstrating that a woman’s true power lies in using her voice to help others step into their own strength.
