Tanin Alemi

I am Tanin Alemi-Baygy, 26 years old, and Miss Grand Iran 2026. I am a Canadian-Persian model, civil engineering graduate, mathematics tutor, and editor, and my journey has been shaped by my passion for culture, education, and empowering others to pursue their dreams.

I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto. Throughout my journey, I have built a diverse path that combines my professional education with my passion for modeling and working with young people. I have been involved in modeling and pageantry since the age of 19, experiences that have helped shape my confidence, discipline, and sense of purpose.

I currently work as a mathematics tutor, teaching students between the ages of 6 and 18. Working with different age groups has developed my passion for connecting with young people, helping them overcome challenges, and encouraging them to recognize their own potential.

Alongside my work, I am an editor for an online Iranian magazine, where I write about Iranian culture and history, including the history of pageantry in Iran. Growing up with both Canadian and Persian influences has given me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and the importance of learning about one another. I believe that a greater understanding of different cultures can bring people closer together and contribute to a more peaceful world.

As Miss Grand Iran 2026, I hope to represent the beauty and diversity of my heritage while inspiring young women around the world to believe that no dream is truly impossible. I want my journey to remind others to embrace who they are, pursue their ambitions, and never allow limitations to define what they can achieve.

Stop the War and Violence

My advocacy is centered around one simple but powerful belief: no innocent person should have to suffer because of conflict and violence.

As a Persian woman, I come from a culture with thousands of years of history, art, literature, and traditions. Yet, like many cultures around the world, Iran is often viewed through the lens of political conflict. I believe it is important to remember that behind every country, every border, and every headline are ordinary people with families, dreams, hopes, and lives of their own.

My focus is on the human side of conflict. Regardless of political beliefs or differences, I believe that children should be able to grow up safely, families should be protected, and innocent people should have the opportunity to live with dignity and hope for the future.

Through my platform, I want to promote compassion, cultural understanding, and humanitarian support. I believe that learning about one another’s cultures allows us to recognize the humanity we share rather than focusing on the differences that divide us. Peace begins with empathy, understanding, and our willingness to see one another as human beings before anything else.

As Miss Grand Iran 2026, I hope to use my voice to remind people that a culture is not defined by its politics, and its people should not be defined by conflict. I want to represent a message of humanity, compassion, and hope while encouraging people to look beyond differences and recognize the common values that connect us all.

The 4Bs

To me, the 4Bs represent the four dimensions of a woman who is confident in who she is and purposeful in what she wants to achieve.

Beauty, to me, is not simply about physical appearance. It is about confidence, authenticity, kindness, and the ability to use your presence to inspire others. I believe true beauty comes from being comfortable in your own identity and having the courage to let that shine.

Body represents strength, discipline, health, and self-confidence. My journey in pageantry has taught me that taking care of yourself is not about meeting a certain standard, but about becoming the strongest and most confident version of yourself, both physically and mentally.

Brain is especially meaningful to me. As a civil engineering graduate and mathematics tutor, education has always been an important part of my identity. I believe an intelligent woman is not defined only by what she knows, but by her ability to think critically, communicate her ideas, continue learning, and use her knowledge to make a difference.

Business represents independence, ambition, and the ability to create opportunities for yourself and others. To me, being a modern woman means having the confidence to build your own path, turn your passions into opportunities, and create something meaningful from your talents and experiences.

Together, the 4Bs remind me that a woman does not have to choose between being beautiful, intelligent, ambitious, and compassionate. She can be all of these things at once. As Miss Grand Iran 2026, I hope to embody the 4Bs not only on the stage, but in the way I live, work, represent my country, and inspire the women who are watching my journey.
